Don’t Quit, figure out the problem
Don’t Quit, figure out the problem.
Reliv is a real business. Like any business, it has its share of challenges and problems. Two issues in reliv are:
First point is our first contact policy. This means that if a person was shared Reliv to by another person, that has to be respected. Years ago, I was working on a Cebu prospect for months who decided to sign up with a Cebu distributor. That Cebu distributor hit top volume because said prospect went MA. I complained to the company about it but I lost the case. I almost quit the business that time because of exasperation. What stopped me was understanding that this business is a duplication thing. If i quit, my distributor downlines will quit too which I feel responsible. I cannot do that to my downlines. Instead I try to preempt same thing happening again and I commit I will not do it.
Recently, i had a situation with a new frontline with his customer. The person bought 2 cans of Now already and wants to buy Innergizeand Fibrestore from my frontline which gave me a situation to explain to a new person why we do not do that. If person was shared Relivto by another distributor, the distributor whoshared should be the rightful Upline. So I told my frontline to leave the person alone. I do not like violating ethics for fear it can backfire on my business. Question asked was how did the person learn about Reliv? He was told the results of my frontline by my frontline’s friend who is not yet a member of Reliv, so rightfully, it should have been the sale of my frontline’s friend but he has not yet signed up. Theperson bought 2 cans from an online shopbecause he could not wait to be guided on how to order direct to the company. So I told my frontlines, I usually do not monitor if a person is not in my line. The person eventually bought 2 cans each of Innergize and Fibrestore under my frontline. I told my frontline to monitor. I also will help because buying on my line, I still earn from the sale, so if I got paid, it must entail work.
My frontline is already at 30% and wants to give away his discount to his friends because he does not want to make money out of his friends. When i told him about earning consumption for free, his reply was he is willing to pay for his consumption as long as it works. So I have a problem, my frontline wants to give discounts to non-members. I had to figure out how to help new person understand this. What I did was I told my frontline why settle for 30% to give to friends, at full retail it has a 30-day money back guarantee such that his friend gets a 100% full refund if his friend is not satisfied with results. But to get full refund ,one needs an invoice showing full non-member price paid. So my frontline had to buy Reliv at retail to have invoice
with retail price. He buys with his credit card and in turn his friends pay him via Gcash. So he now sells to his friends at retail price. My frontline shares the products to his friends not for the business but to help his friends with their health concerns. Now, his friend also got improved results so this fuels my frontline to share Reliv to other people he knows. He does it in the course of life. He shares Reliv even while playing mahjong.
Second issue is unauthorized discount by Shopee and Lazada and other online sellers.
One problem I learned when I got back to doing my Reliv business was the discounted pricing of online shops and online sellers. Reliv has removed distributors who are involved in giving discounts in these platforms.Giving discounts to a non-member is a violation of our company policy as this gives unfair competition.
A distributor who earned a bigger check than me before, quit doing the business because a Malaysian distributor undercut his Master Affiliates in Brunei. They complained to the company but issue was not handled well so now this distributor refused to have anything to do with Reliv. He is a medical doctor who is a leader. Now no one is building in Brunei. That is the detriment, it could spoil business building in a country. I think the Malaysian distributor who offered the discount also is no longer active in Reliv. It backfires.
Reliv will only work if members will follow rules. The company policy is in place for a reason. Reliv will not work if only a few people earn. It works if everyone can make a good income to confirm that Reliv is a good business with low capital and low overhead. think how you can solve the problem. In any business, it is solving the problem that works. If you have a business and a problem occurs, do you close your business? No, you solve the problem. Reliv is no different, don’t quit, solve the problem. it will make you a stronger distributor.
